New York Edge is one of the premiere after-school providers in New York City. The organization offers a no-cost summer program Monday through Friday for 10 hours per day for children and families of diverse communities of African Americans, Spanish, Asian/Latino, and Caucasian families, which will service K-5th grade students. The mission is to help bridge the opportunity gap among under-served students by providing programs designed to improve academic performance, health and wellness, self-confidence, character, and attitudes for success in life.
