The Research Foundation of CUNY administers the Brooklyn College Community Partnership, leveraging the resources and expertise of Brooklyn College to serve middle school students in Brooklyn communities. This unique model creates direct pathways between K-12 schools and higher education, with Brooklyn College students and faculty serving as mentors, tutors, and role models.

By bringing middle schoolers onto the Brooklyn College campus and creating meaningful relationships with college community members, the program makes higher education feel accessible and achievable—not abstract or distant.
