Children’s Aid has served NYC children and families since 1853, operating one of the nation’s oldest and most comprehensive community-based organizations. Children’s Aid provides education, health, mental health, foster care, and community programs. Their afterschool initiatives create safe, supportive environments emphasizing academic achievement, social-emotional learning, and family support. Children’s Aid pioneered the community school model, integrating services to address whole child and family needs.
