The Beacon program at Catherine & Count Basie Middle School 72 serves students in grades 4-8 with comprehensive afterschool, extended day, evening (K-Adults), and Saturday programming. Operating September through June, the program offers enrichment in STEAM, literacy, leadership and civics including service learning, college and career readiness, gender-specific mentoring, visual and performing arts, sports & recreation, and health & wellness.
