SAYA (South Asian Youth Action) at Central Queens Academy aims to foster a strong sense of belonging in youth and provide them with tools to thrive academically, professionally, and personally. Through innovative, holistic approaches, SAYA works toward education equity by providing opportunities to less privileged youth, ensuring they are academically, emotionally, and socially prepared to become engaged members of society. Classes include Zumba, Improv Drama, Get Fit, Piano, Homework Help, Mandarin, and Dance.

South Asian Youth Action (SAYA) has served NYC’s South Asian and Indo-Caribbean communities since 1996, providing youth development, family services, and community programs. SAYA’s innovative, holistic approach addresses academic, emotional, and social needs while celebrating cultural heritage. Their programs work toward education equity, ensuring underserved youth have opportunities to thrive and become engaged community members. SAYA serves Queens and Brooklyn with culturally responsive programming.
